Description

Construction Focus Four - "Struck-by Hazards"

This training will focus on the hazard of being "struck-by" something. On a construction site, that "something" could be almost anything. You may be struck by materials as they are being moved about the construction site. The bucket of a backhoe may hit you while you are in a trench. If you work near traffic, you may be hit by a motor vehicle. These are only a few examples of how you may be struck by something that can cause great pain or even death.

This program will help you recognize common struck-by hazards and show you ways to decrease those hazards at your job site.

Construction Focus Four - "Caught in or Between Hazards"

This course explains the different types of caught-in or caught between hazards commonly found on transportation construction work sites and how to mitigate the risks of being hurt or killed by vehicles and equipment.

Trenching & Excavating:

This course focuses on preventing the main hazards in trenching and excavations like cave-ins, falls, roll-overs, confined spaces, traffic, underground utilities, soil identification, and other related hazards.
