Description

You Don't Need a TITLE to be a Leader. Leadership is influence. A leader is a team player that works for the success of the entire team and organization. A leader empowers their coworkers for the greater good of the organization.

Speaker(s)

Leanna Emmer: NDLTAP Technical Representative. Leanna has worked cooperatively with others for more than 40 years. Her experience includes 15 years as supervisor in the Permit Office of the ND Highway Patrol. As supervisor, she worked collaboratively with the Department of Transportation, the motor carrier industry and other government entities on transportation policies and concerns related to vehicle size and weight.

Dale Heglund. NDLTAP Program Director. Dale has 40 years of transportation experience ranging from equipment operator to design engineer. His career focus has been to promote the quality of the roadway network by helping others understand roadway engineering principles, the synergies of working cooperatively with others, leadership skills, and new technology implementation processes.

Genny Dienstmann Assistant Director of Operations with the ND Association of Counties. Her responsibilities include finance and human resources including the HR Collaborative for Local Government. She is also responsible for management assistance to the ND Association of County Engineers and the ND Association of County Recorders. Genny has degrees in accounting and business administration and is achieved designation as a Certified Association Executive by the American Society of Association Executives.

Target Audience

Contractors, county/city/tribal superintendents, foreman, operators, & others that work on our roadway/street network.
